Thought I would feel good knowing paperwork had gone to ip this afternoon but question for VB has me worried. They asked if my hubby only had Barclaycard for his debts, the rest going into iva is in mine. He has car finance but that's not included. First time they have mentioned it and now Im chewing. He owes just over 10k on his card. Could this mean we wont be able to enter iva together?
VB are really brilliant with customer service. They have contacted me and told me there really is nothing to worry about regarding the above due to level of debt etc. Cancel my last!!! Thanks VB
If you are both going into IVA's ALL lending has to be declared. Any secured lending ( mortgage, HP on car, etc) will need the repayments factored into your expenses.
You will not go into one IVA, but two individual IVA's, which might be joint (so one lot of figures to play with and one payment).
