If your IVA has only just completed you may have a bit of a wait depending on which firm you used. However if your IVA finished a year ago this seems far too long and perhaps you should speak to the IP directly and even make a complaint via the internal complaints process. This can often speed the process up as no one likes complaints.

thankyou for your reply.
I made my last payment in August 2013.
They keep fobbing me off with reasons mainley PPI delays, they have had all forms returned to them that they have asked for months ago. They have now said they can give me a further year, which I'm saying they have had 2013 to 2014 (I started my IVA in Aug 2008).
I have said I will put in a complaint to the odbudsman, to which they just replied "I will have to put the complaint in through them"
I just want an answer to when I'm going to get the CC

This sounds odd as there is no VAT on PPI. There have been problems in the past with both these issues but they are not connected. You need to speak directly to the IP and ask them to put in writing the reasons for the delay as you wish to take independent legal advice.

Enter your details into the link above and it will tell you who your IP is. You can then contact them directly and ask for an explanation.

I couldn't find an email address for my IP, so have emailed the complaints dept.
They have sent me a letter saying they will look into my claim and get back to me within the next 8 weeks. Not sure why it will take that long but heyho.

This does seem a long time to answer a complaint but best of luck with it anyway.

Good luck Croydon Lady. I can't believe people are still having to wait so long for completion certificates.
