I'm self employed. How can my tax be listed in the creditor section if it is deducted at source ?

Im self employed and tax is deducted at source. ive recently started an iva and noticed an amount of £4565.00 added to my creditors list for hmrc how can it be listed in the creditor section if my tax is deducted at source

What is it you do? Tax isn't usually deducted at source for self employment, unless in the construction industry.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

If you are subject to CIS deductions this may be an error but so let your IP know. There is also possibility that not enough CIS tax would be deducted and this is the balance due.
