My husband and myself are separated, but he remains in the family home. We owe quite a considerable amount of money back to creditors. So I have recently discovered that he has taken an IVA.
Can he by law use some of our property's equity to fund this. As I still own half the house and my name is on the mortgage and deeds.

You should have been informed of the IVA beforehand as he will likely have agreed to remortgage. You need to speak to his IP and find out what has happened.
