On behalf of my aunt who has been in an IVA for 5 years.
Her debt management agency have informed her that only a small percentage of her creditors have been paid over the last 5 years and they have taken too much money from her.

Hi and welcome. If your aunt in an IVA her IP needs to be contacted really for a full breakdown of what has been paid and what has been distributed to her creditors. If too much money has been taken and all her total debts are 100% paid she will be due a refund I'm sure after fees and possible statutory interest have been paid too.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
