Have a chat with Ryan or Shaun who are forum experts. Both are expert mortgage brokers and have successfully achieved high street mortgaged for ex iva customers. Their contact details are on the left under ask the experts a question.

Hi Shannah - as luluj has said you are better off trying a broker in my opinion. A good deposit will help but you may have to pay a slightly higher %.

Good luck - let us know how you get on.

It is usually wiser to use a broker in tese circumstances rather than trying to source the mortgage yourself. This can cut down on the number of credit checks showing on your credit file which can do long term damage.

Ryan has provided me with two mortgages in the last 4 years and we are now with a high street lender at normal rate.

Hi Shannah,
Would advised you to obtain your credit files from all 3 companies, and check you are removed from the Insolvency register. Once you have these, i would be happy to look at this for you
