Hi My mum is in an IVA and has had substantial PPI refunds

Hi

My mum is in an IVA totalling £15585.69 payable over 5 years she has been paying for 2 but within that 2 years has also had ppi money refunded totalling £12534.91 2 x years of payments totalling £6096.06 on looking into it Debt company says she still owes in excess of £13,000 is this correct?

Probably ... During the IVA you always owe the full original debt ( not just the promised payments), plus fees and possible statutory interest. Only at the end of the IVA does anything not paid get written off.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
