Do we need to pay for things like car insurance and home insurance annually because we cant get credit and if yes does this not affect our yearly reviews as these direct debits will not be on our statements anymore.

There are allowances made for monthly payments and it is ususual for such items to be affected. If you can pay up front this will save you interest and should not impact on your IVA payments. Some people do save their allowances for the discount and should not be penalised as a result.
