My house insurance up for renewal had letter won't accept monthly payments due to IVA. Can anyone advise companies that will can not afford to pay in one payment.
Car insurance with Hastings has renewed ok according to letter however, tried online with them tonight and they also refused monthly payments on house insurance.
Do I have to declare IVA on car insurance renewal.
Thanks

Hi
it happened to me once with LV
I had house insurance with them and wanted car insurance, tried online and it rejected me but I then called and explained and they agreed to let me have the policy. Give Hastings a ring.
An IVA is a long hard road but valuable lessons have been learnt along the way. Now looking forward to enjoying a debt free future!

We couldnt do monthly installments with Aviva for home insurance but no issues with the AA. Worth a try. Good level of cover too. Hope that helps.

Renewed my insurance with AXA. Monthly payments no problem.
'One Call' also allow pay monthly.
Just shop around.
My opinions are just that: Based on my experience and being a self-employed IVA customer.
