Do I have to include maintenance payments ? They are paid erratically, beyond my control.

Hi there, I have an appointment with an IP later, I've been round a few now to discuss options. Do I have to include maintenance payments I get in the proposal? They have only been paid regularly for the last few months, my child's father stops and starts when he feels like it so I'm reluctant to include them. If I do this I don't want it to fail because of something beyond my control.

Any advice appreciated. Thank you.

Hi and welcome

I would not include them but would make the Insolvency Practitioner aware that they are paid on an adhoc basis. When they are received you may have to increase your IVA payment that month

Be guided by your IP
