Hi

My IVA finished a year ago and I am aware that things stay on record for a year afterwards. I have been taking steps to rebuild my rating and did a credit check on Call Credit today and was alarmed to see a £2000 Cahoot credit card debt still showing as outstanding. This was part of my IVA so I'm not sure whether I should contact Cahoot, my Insolvency Practitioner, or Call Credit?

Thanks In Advance

John

but a credit card debt is still on record?.

Although creditors usually mark the defaults as settled or partially settled, many do not bother. The whole shebang will drop off on the 6th anniversary of the start of the IVA in any case.

But, if you wish to attempt to set the record straight have a read here:

My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
