It shouldn't hold up completion but a good chunk of any redundancy payment will have to be paid into the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

I am also in same situation. The only thing I suggest is drag out the process till you get the final certificate - that however is not always a simple thing and some IVA firms allow this to go on for months if not years. Happily some firms are trying to speed the completion up

Hi

If your redundancy is paid within your IVA period [up until completion] then it can form part of your IVA and payable to your creditors. It will be up to your IP on how to deal with this if redundancy is received after your final payment
