I have received a letter today, 15 months after I made my last payment, telling to fill in yet another form so they can chase up any outstanding PPI.Surely this should have been dealt with before. I have already sent a complaint in and I suppose this is in response to my complain.
What is the point of agreeing to an IVA for a 5 year term when it's allowed to drag on and on, I will still have to wait for another 3 months after I get my cc for it to be cleared off my credit history. I wish with all my heart i had gone bankrupt now at least I would have had closure by now

Who are you with? Have they explained why the delay is so long?

The VAT and PPI issues are separate but regardless 15 months afterwards does seem long. Speak to the IP themselves because if this relates to PPI reclaims then there could be a further long delay.

Never get to speak to my IP, only some random person that answers the phone which is why I went down the complaints way, thought I might get answers that way. They said I would get a reply within 8 weeks which is up on the 7th November.

I sometimes despair of companies and feel so frustrated to read posts like this. Why oh why is this dragging on for this poster. An IVA once completed should be issued with a certificate of compliance and if the PPI or whatever is to be dealt with, do ask them to comply and get a signature to say it can be ongoing. In my mind there are going to be times within the not too distant future where this is going to go horribly wrong for some companies.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

The complaint will have to be dealt with as no one wants things escalated to the regulators. Hopefully they address this within the timescale as it is unfair to keep people hanging on indefinitely. It is also not right that you cannot speak to the IP as ultimately you are paying them for the service.

Thanks everyone, here is hoping it's over soon, just want it taken off my credit score, not that I want credit again.
Perhaps one day we will be chasing compensation up from them.

latest update:
This is part of the letter I received today from Money plus after I sent in a complaint as to why I can't receive my CC.

"My review has established that we are currently waiting for confirmation on whether or not we need to pay VAT payment protection funds received. The terms of the arrangements have now been satisfied however; I propose to remain in office until the administration of any VAT payments have been finalised. We will therefore monitor your arrangement accordingly."

What exactly is this really telling me?

It says you must wait indefinitely for completion ! Why is this "VAT question" not holding up other firms ??

AT LAST!!!!
Received my certificate yesterday, I am so glad I made a complaint. They will not uphold my complaint as they didn't agree with me over the time it has taken to issue my certificate but heyho I have it now at long last.
