I don't understand why forms have been sent to my mum to sign. She has become ill.

Hi,my mum is on a IVA because she became ill.now my mum has not missed any payment but the IVA have sent forms to my mum to sign , for putting a charging order on her property but in the guys name at the IVA.there is no equity in her property as she is on interest only.I don't understand why he has sent this form to her when she has not defaulted. Thank you

Is it a Land Registry RX1 that your mum has been sent? If so, it is entirely normal for one of these to be requested (albeit normally at the start of the IVA process) in order to prevent title being transferred without the knowledge of the IVA administrator.
