I finished my IVA this year. I have now received a letter sending me a default notice stating that they want a immediate payment of £2200.
There is another letter I received with that letter stating they have made a mistake and they will pay my back money but, because I am in breech of my loan they are paying themselves with it.
Is this legal ?

Hi Vivienne,

This sounds like an error that your IP will be able to deal with for you. Once your IVA is completed creditors cannot then pursue you for any of the debts included in it.
