Hi all - We have just had our f&f accepted, however we were thinking of selling and moving into rented accommodation, first question is how long should we wait before selling and second will we be able to rent with an iva on our record?
Selling the house should wait until you have your completion certificate. Many have rented with an IVA still active! You might need larger deposit or rent up front than normal. Also be upfront with the agents, so you don't have to pay fees when they will reject you.
