We are just entering our 4th year of our iva and my husband has just lost his job, I only work part time, what will this mean for us?

Speak with your IP.

They may be able to offer a payment break until hubby finds another job, or perhaps ask about payments made to date as a F&F?

As bridgey says, speak to your IP. Usually a break is offered ( which will be added on at the end ). Payments made to date might be another avenue, but would probably need you to demonstrate that you have been trying to find work.

Keep your IP in the picture, this won't be the first time he / she has had this to deal with.

Whats the likelihood of hubby finding another job quickly? Key to this is keeping an open communication line with your IVA firm throughout.

Good luck to him in finding new employment.
