What information do I need for my first telephone appointment to set up an IVA ?

I have my first telephone appt next week to set up an iva . What will I be asked and what information do I need to send in ?

Try and have a list of your creditors and aporix amount owed.
You would also benefit from knowing your income and your expenditure so maybe a list of direct debits ..utility costs, council tax, insurance, rent/mortgage etc. The more you have to hand tge more accurate they can assess you for an IVA.

I can only echo Luluj's advice above. But also make a list of any questions that come to mind now -- as they will go out of your head during the call.

A little bit of background is also helpful as there needs to be a short explanation for the debt in the proposal.

If you need to open a new bank account try and do this in advance as it will speed things along.

However go ahead with the call even if you haven't got all the information to hand. Best to get the ball rolling as soon as you can . Its quite a long process at the best of times !
