I completed my IVA in August but it appears there is a bankruptcy charge on my property that needs to be lifted. It was a debt collection company that was chasing me before I entered into the IVA and were included in this.
Can I take the necessary paperwork to the court to get this lifted or do I have to rely on the Creditor to do this. It is urgent as I am in the process of selling my property and this has just raised it's ugly head just as we were about to exchange contracts.

If there was a bankruptcy petition against you this would have been notified to Land Registry and then removed when the IVA was passed. You should speak to the solicitors who registered the interest and get them to remove it. Your previous IP should be able to help if need be.
