I have been in an IVA since 2008 and 5 year term ended in Jan 2014. Due to unemployment I stopped paying for the last 6 months of the IVA and the IP (PJG) arranged a creditor meeting and in Feb 2014 creditors accepted the variation to end the IVA (as we had paid well over the original arranged amount)
After this acceptance the IP arranged for Clifford Watts to do the PPI claims which I believe were unsuccessful.
Last week we received a letter from Creditfix sating the IVA had been transferred to them and requesting new variations.
I don't understand what they have taken over as our creditors have given the full and final settlement of our liabilities?
Please can you shed some light on this?

regards
Paul

Have you received your completion certificate? Perhaps it's showing as not complete pending the ppi so has transferred as an active iva?

They may be sending these letters to everyone on the list but also if they get approval from creditors for a huge fee hike they could go back to your case and take out an extra whack of cash.
