Can family tax credit arrears be added to my IVA ?

in a iva and family tax credits which is one of thr companys i owe money to have sent me aletter saying i owe even more money from this year and last year the amount is over 5 grand and now say i not intitled to any family tax can this be added to my iva or do i need to make plans to pay it

Hi

I think any overpayment prior to your IVA starting can be included but any after IVA can't

Anything pre IVA listed on the final award notice will be included but anything post IVA can be recovered by HMRC. You need to contact your IP and find out what is due post IVA and see about a reduction in payments if need be.
