Hi,
I started my IVA with PayPlan back in November 2008 and successfully completed it in November 2013 and received my completion letter a few months later (after having to request it a few times).
I didn't bother to check my credit report at first as I knew it would stay on for 6 years however today I decided to check it with Experian and to my surprise it's still there 6 years and 2 months later.
I decided to also check the insolvency register and it's still on there too.
I have read a few posts on her from people with similar problems but I really don't know where to start to finally get it removed.
Thank you for your help.

The insolvency register should be updated within 3 months of the completion certificate being issued. So in theory by February. If it remains on their the website provides an enquiry line and I would contact them and request it ve updated ..you may have to provide a copy of the certificate.
Likewise the iva should show as completed once evidence of completion certificate received and on 6th anniversary providing certificate received cleared from your records. I would raise an on-line query to have the info amended.
I would also contact your IP and ask that they resend to all credit agencies evidence of your completion.
Default should automatically drop off credit file 6yrs ftom start date ... you may have to pursue some creditors to remove these as they don't tend to hurry themsrlves.
