CAP is a registered charity with a centre in Manchester that provides all kinds of debt help, advice, counseling and management until you become debt free. It is genuinely free of charge and totally non-discriminatory. To get help in the first instance call free on 0800 328 0006 to speak to an advisor.

After registering a local debt adviser from our centre will arrange to meet you in your home to gather all information and work out a realistic repayment schedule with you based on what you can afford. They will also negotiate with creditors to gain the best deals possible. Takes
away all stress and aggravation.

CAP is a nationwide charity with around 300 debt centres. Mine is CAP Manchester Central covering an area of about 5 miles radius around the city centre. The 0800 number applies from anywhere in the UK

Thanks Steve. Useful to know as we are not and many of the intermediaries have large waiting lists.
