IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
If you do it your IP may well want the money. Some people have also been caught out when the refund was kept by the creditor to offset against the old debt. They then owed the claims company the fee that would have come out of the refund and were out of pocket by a couple of thousand.
