I am the 24/7 carer for my severely disabled husband. Do you think we were mis-sold our IVA ?

My husband and I entered into an IVA 2.5years ago. My husband is severely disabled and I am his 24/7 carer. My husband receives full DLA and I get carers allowance. Other than that we have lodgers on and off. Do you think that we were mis-sold our IVA

Difficult to say -- if you went to a reputable firm I doubt it. A lot depends upon all of your other circumstances as to whether it was ( is) the best solution for you. If your debts were becoming a burden they would have to be dealt with in some way, after all.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

As Foggy says it is difficult to say - if you have your own property and you are mortgage free it probably was the best way going forward.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
