You should expect your credit rating to be trashed for at least 6 years plus.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

You cannot afford to repay your current debts, no one will lend you more, you should not WANT to borrow more.

Your credit rating is dead, but it will revive, in time.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Sorry but surely you must have researched this and been given Al this information prior to entering your IVA ?!!! I have read and read until my brain hurts and my eyes are bleeding !!!! Asked every question I could think of during my phone meeting and will scrutinise every bit of paper I may sign through the initial steps !! I do hope you know the full implications of what you have signed up for and it meets your expectations , hope all goes smoothly
IVA accepted 15 April 2015

Martin.p ... first welcone to the forum.

Your post doesn't mention if you are thinking about an iva or are already in an
iva.

My best advice is to talk to your IP (if already in an iva) to seek a full understanding or to contact two or three Insolvency firms to have explained based on your circumstances the implications if an iva.
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
