My iva finishes nov 2015 and it will also come of my credit report at the same time. I had to take a one year extension. Now I have been told once I have my certificate saying it has been finished I can apply to go on my wife's mortgsge on the house. They said that I do not need to declare the iva because it would be over 6 years from the start. Did dfd tell me wrong?
I know the lending company have an iva question for their criteria and I want to know what is the correct answer.

The correct answer is the honest one:

"Have you ever been in an IVA?" : Yes
"Are you in an IVA ?" : No

The different lenders all have differing views on credit hisories.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
