I took out a loan in 2004 which I fully paid off before I entered into an IVA years later. My IVA completed 2 years ago. I have since received a PPI refund on the loan from 2004. Can I keep this or do I have to send it to my IP? thanks

Some IP's will allow you to keep PPI from pre IVA creditors. Most don't.

However, a recent court case ruled that, once the Certificate of completion is issued, then PPI claimed after that is yours:

This is assuming that you haven't signed anything to transfer your rights to PPI over to your former IP.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
