Hi, Come October we are into our 7th year of IVA, we have made all the payments required and also been refused a re-mortgage. The company we a with (Grant Thornton) took our IVA over from Blair Endersby and seem to be taking they're time with everything, is there anything we can do to bring this to an end please?

I am assuming that you had a 6 year IVA to start with (a common occurrence if one of your creditors was Northern Rock of if the likely return was deemed too low) and that you had 12 month extension in lieu of equity.

GT will also use the full 6 month admin period as a minimum for closure.

All you can do is respond to any query promptly and try to keep in touch on a regular basis asking how things are going.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
