I finished my IVA July 2014. Would it improve or harm my credit score to have joint finances ?

I finished my IVA July 2014.I have a credit card and i am rebuilding my credit score. The question i have is my partner as a mortgage and we are thinking of me going on the mortgage also all the bills are in her name would it improve my score to put them in our joint names or would this harm her credit score

It is not so easy to just put a name on a mortgage as effectively this is a whole new application. If your IVA completed in 2014 this should not be a problem unless it was an early settlement. Your credit file is damaged for six years from the start of the IVA.

Even if it could be done easily, at the moment, it is likely to stain her credit record until yours is clear.
