I checked this last night and my name was no longer on it. Does it automatically drop off after 6 years or is it removed by your IP.

It was a lovely feeling to see that it has gone but even better was when I got paid on Tuesday I did not have to pay over half my salary. There is light at the end of the tunnel folks and when you emerge at the other end it is a wonderful feeling[:)]

Well done ! Really free now :-)

The IP sends a copy of the completion certificate to the Insolvency Service and they remove you from their Register within three months.

The IVA will stay on your credit files for 6 years from the start when it will drop off automatically, providing the agencies have also been sent a copy of the certificate ( not all IP's do this bit, but mine did).
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Thank You. I have not received my completion certificate yet but just so pleased to be free at last.
