Hi,
My final payment has left my bank account. This time next week I will cancel my DD to GT and then start the long wait for the CC.

Never thought this day would arrive but we managed all 60 payments (we rent so no equity etc) luckily nothing major broke down that we needed to take a payment break,so hopefully it should be pretty straight forward.
Just waiting on EIC doing the PPI 2+ years and counting so far.

Congrats.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Great news well done. Just as a box ticking exercise but out of interest have the firm confirmed you can cancel it, would be awful if you did and they said it was a breach, might be worth getting it in writing if you haven't already ? (I like to dot i's and cross t's having in writing you can cancel is a safety net IMHO, perhaps overkill but i like safety nets..... [:p])

My Blog details, the route I took before IVA, how I choose my firm, equity release advice (year 4-5), challenging the CRA's keeping IVA on credit file once gone from insolvency register

IVA ended August 2015. Would recommend McCambridge Duffy

Longslog101 GT confirmed to me in an email in Feb that my last payment was the April one. So yes have it in writing.
