Just wondered how long it takes to draft a variation document? Been waiting a week but didn't want to get straight on the blower!! Time is ticking ;)
There's more to life than money....but it does help!!

It depends on who you are with. Some take an age whereas others do it quickly. For example, we received an offer of a full and final yesterday and the variation report has gone out today as it is straightforward. It is not difficult to do but some firms seem to take an age.

If you have not provided all the info there could be genuine reasons for a delay but other than that a few days is ample time to draft a variation report.

I would say a couple of weeks, then give them a call --- most seem to take 2 - 4 weeks (some even longer).

Hi Steven - I'm afraid Michael is right - it depends on your IP firm but as Foggy says I would wait another week then chase - 2 weeks is enough time to put something together or come back to you with any queries.
