I've been told that in certain circumstances the last 3 months of IVA are cancelled.

Extensions can be cancelled if equity is no longer available. Is this what you mean?

There may be some confusion with the 3 month rules e.g. miss 3 months payments and the IVA will be voided, 3 months for you to come off the Insolvency Register etc.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
