Is it the IP company that informs the credit reference agencies, that an IVA is complete, as part of the closure procedure?
(i.e. just before or at the time of issue of the Completion Certificate?)
How long then does it take the CRA's to update their records?
The IP informs the Insolvency Service, who, in turn, report to the CRAs. This is done when he issues the completion certificates, by sending a copy of the certificate and final report to the IS.
It should take the CRAs a few days to update.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
I had to prompt Experian to amend ours but all others were automatically updated. Your IP normally sends a notification to say all satisfied and closed. You do need to ensure a notice of correction is not listed instead when the IVA is removed - this happened to us and we had to request it be removed.

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !
Cheers relieved, last payment next Friday, and as I had a 6 year IVA the defaults are alredy falling of my credit report, so just need the IVA removing. Will document the progress. Almost, nearly there.
