When is an IVA legally considered complete, do creditors have a legal claim against you even after a full and final settlement has been offered, accepted and a completion certificate issued.

Generally everything is done and dusted after the cc has been issued except if you have signed a deed of undertaking re. PPI.

However one company is now asking people to allow PPI to be chased years after the certificate has been issued.

In terms of creditors unless there is something that suggests they were deliberately not included in an IVA they cannot start chasing again.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I agree with Lifenoteasy.

Save for some confusion over PPI you are clear and free.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
