My IVA is due to end on the 22nd July 2015. Call Credit are showing defaults right up to this month, instead of them ceasing when my IVA was approved. Can I ask to get them removed now? or do I need to wait until I receive a Completion Certificate?
The defaults should fall off six years after the IVA started and is not to do with when it is over. If this was a five year IVA you have a year to wait but if it was a six year you are nearly there.
Each account has one default, which should be dated on or around the start of your IVA. Each month is not a new default, but a report that the old default still exists.
