My IVA ended in 2011 and received certificate ,I had ppi on a mortgage before I took out the IVA.The mortgage was not in my IVA but the ppi was with Lloyds which was in the IVA,How do I stand in getting a refund.Ithough once your debt was finished that was it.

Some IP's did decide that PPI on mortgages or secured lending outside of the IVA could be retained -- however, on advice many changed their minds and the majority consider that such PPI is an asset of the IVA, even if claimed after the IVA has been formally completed. As it potentially existed during the IVA is is an asset of the arrangement.

This is currently being challenged in the courts, but currently is how it stands.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
