I am 62 and retire in 2 and half years my wife is 57 and works full time on low wage will I get a remortgage at my age?

I doubt it -- the IVA would prevent it in any case, as things stand at the moment.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I agree that this is highly unlikely. An extension to the IVA is more probable depending on the terms of the IVA and level of equity.

If you must release equity it may be possible if you have sufficient pension income but you would need to speak to a professional in that field when the time comes.
