Morning All,

I have recently opened an Experian account to start improving my credit score following the completion of my IVA early last month, all creditors that were involved within my IVA are shown on the report and are pretty much up to date and closed off.

Currently I have an active balance shown against "Creation Consumer Finance" and the status of the account is shown as "Delinquent" the last update shown on this account is shown as 31/05/2015.

Any advice would be appreciated on what the best course of action would be in updating this account with Experian and getting this balance taken off my report.

Cheers
Matt

As long as it is dated at the start of your IVA it will drop off whatever the status, so no real issue.

There is some useful background here:

You do not need to join Experian and pay for a service which does very little.

Thanks Foggy will have a look at the above link, In fairness it's still early days following my completion and looking further into Experian I doubt I will pay £14.99 per month to see my report once my trial has finished.

Hi All,

I've just logged in to check my Experian score and its rocketed up to 999 a rise of 338 points within the last week.

Has this happened to anyone before as it's also showing that I have no delinquent accounts, I've roughly been clear of my IVA just over a year and assume they have dropped off due to being a year on?

If anyone could advise that would be appreciated.

Cheers
Matt

You will have hit the 6th anniversary of the start of your IVA and all correctly dated defaults will have dropped off. Have a read here:

I'm with Noddle. Checked mine and everything has dropped off and all I see is green ticks :-) Makes a change. My score is 568.
