Hi coming up to the end of year 5. GT have instructed me to try & re-mortgage via 2 lenders. I am led to believe a re-mortgage will be refused, just asking for advice of the smoothest way to go about this i.e. lenders with the least fees & paperwork. Thank You

Many IP's take a sanguine view about this, know full well that a remortgage isn't going to happen. GT, however, probably want chapter and verse. Mention the IVA and you will not get as far as fees or paperwork, all you need is a written "forget it" note --- not easy to get!

Some have joy with online applications and a screen dump of the refusal to proceed screen.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Speak to your own lender who will almost certainly refuse as they already know about the IVA. That is one refusal and should be easy to get another.
