My mother in law has been sent a letter, addressed to her recently deceased husband saying he is entitled to money owed from his recent debt repayment which he cleared. Would she now be entitled to this money?
Kind regards

Hi

Any money would go to the estate and the main beneficiaries.

It comes down to whether there was a will, who is regarded as next of kin etc.

It's a long winded way of saying probably - sorry.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
