Speak to a few companies to see what your option are.

When we went into an IVA one of the deciding factors was that the Virgin card we had after interest was only being reduced by about 15p per month.

It would have taken us over a hundred years to pay it off based on minimum payments.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Hi --- once you are on minimum payments the circle goes on and on. Depending upon the level of debt a DMP can work, or at least give you breathing space.

I would suggest a chat with a few companies to sort out the options. In my opinion the smaller companies, where you can actually chat with an IP if needed, are better.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
