My PPI was refunded and apparently two cheques were sent to my IP - one for the PPI refund itself and one for "statutory compensation". If it's statutory compensation then I assume everyone who's had a PPI refund will have received it. Does anyone know if this compensation is considered a windfall and so therefore I could expect to half of it?

(Hopeful but keeping my expectations rock bottom.)

Hi, not sure on this one as I've never had PPI. Someone will be along soon to hopefully confirm. Drop you IP an email just suggesting this you never know and fingers crossed for you here.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi,

I know some people have been allowed some of the money but I think it depends on which company you are with.

This is probably the interest element and some IP's have allowed it to be kept by the client, however, most don't.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
