Hi
Paypaln took an insurance out in effect a PPI at the start of my IVA. Was this necessary?
I didn't have much of a choice. Do I have the same rights as claiming it as misold?

The cost of this would likely have been borne by the IVA 'pot' thereby costing you nothing personally unless you repaid creditors in full. Whether there is a potential claim would be a question for a lawyer but it is a possibility.

They did for me - didn't cost us anything and if I had died during the IVA it would have been paid off.
