Hi there. I'm currently winning some ppi claims from 2001. I started and completed an iva by 2008 as I was 32000 in debt. Unfortunately I am 1 year into another iva and just wondered how my ppi money I am awarded effects my current iva. Many thanks, Rt.

Hi and welcome. I feel that any claimed PPI will be payable for the benefit of your creditors to reduce the debt level owed.

Best to check your IVA paperwork and your IP can give case specific advice.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Hi

If you had not gone into the second IVA you probably would have been able to keep the PPI.

As it stands your best hope is that if PPI is reclaimed it pushes you closer towards repaying 100p in the £.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

The PPI is an asset of the current arrangement and will be paid in to your IVA to increase the dividend.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014
