I completed my IVA 10 years ago and have recently applied to claim my misold ppi back from my bank.
They have send a letter asking me whether I've ever been subject to an IVA. Will this affect my claim?

They could potentially send the money to the old IVA company - however if you have your completion certificate from 10 years ago then you could demonstrate that PPI was not a known issue in 2005 and therefore out of scope.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
