What would the compensation be for? If for personal injury I believe you may be able to keep it but hopefully one of the experts can reply.

Generally you are allowed to retain compensation for pain and suffering, in line with the practice in bankruptcy, but some IP's do have differing views.

Not sure about this but I would email your IVA company and ask what their policy is.

This may well come under pain and suffering and we have excluded such claims in the past from former members of the security forces. Your IP may need to take legal advice when they see the award.
