Evening All,
I have just hit the stage of the IVA when a redemption certificate and a house valuation is required. What is the best way if getting a valuation without it costing any monies. How do you also explain it needs to be on a 3 month forced sale basis?
Surely this sort of gives the game away. Any help or experiences welcomed.

Many people say they are thinking of relocating with their job ( which, of course, falls through). On the other hand, if you are close to the de minimis it pays to get a paid for valuation to save a years extension.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

hi, when I had to have a valuation, I do admit to telling a lie to the estate agents, I told them I was moving away with work and needed to sell quick. They emailed me a sales pack which I forwarded to my IP and they accepted this valuation.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

we paid a local estate agent £50 for a valuation. We were totally honest with them as to why we needed the valuation to be lower than the desktop valuation and they were happy to oblige. I didn't have the confidence to make up a story!
