Hi there, I bought out of my iva in 2013. In nov 2015 it will be 6 yrs sinse I started it. I have recently taken on a credit card to help push up my credit rating and I would like to know what mortgage options would be available? I live with my new wife and would like to put the mortgage in joint names but not sure how or when I would be eligible.

After November you can think about it -- and it will of course depend upon deposits, salaries etc.

I would suggest you have a chat with Ryan and / or Shaun who are both whole of market brokers with experience in adverse credit applications.

Their details can be found under the "Ask a Question" tab ( top left) and then scrolling down the page to the Experts Details Section.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Hi and welcome.

Firstly, check with all Credit Reference Agencies to make sure your record is clear, then have a word with either of our mortgage experts. Ryan or Shaun (details under the expert section on the side bar). They have given many a poster a helping hand.
